Here’s a recipe for a bold, fire-roasted salsa that brings together the deep heat of Hot Burrito Pepper and the bright, juicy sweetness of Siam Tomatoes.

Ingredients

• 4–5 Hot Burrito peppers (halved, seeds optional depending on heat preference)

• 2 cups Siam tomatoes (whole or halved)

• 1 small white onion (quartered)

• 3 cloves garlic (unpeeled)

• 1–2 tbsp olive oil

• 1 lime (juiced)

• ½ cup fresh cilantro

• Salt to taste


Instructions

  1. Roast Preheat oven to 425°F. Place Hot Burrito peppers, Siam tomatoes, onion, and garlic on a baking sheet. Drizzle with olive oil and roast for 20–25 minutes until charred and softened.
  2. Prep Remove garlic from skins. Let everything cool slightly.
  3. Blend Add all roasted ingredients to a blender or food processor. Add lime juice, cilantro, and salt. Pulse to your desired consistency (chunky or smooth).
  4. Taste & Adjust Adjust salt, lime, or heat level as needed.

Serving Ideas

• Spoon over tacos, grilled meats, or eggs

• Use as a dip with tortilla chips

• Add to bowls for a fresh, spicy kick
