Grilled Cheesy Fresh Bites Snack Peppers

A tasty snack or party app! Your grill or oven will soften the peppers and melt the cheese to goo. The addition of the chili pepper gives it a zip!


  • 6-7 Fresh Bites peppers – or similar sweet snack peppers
  • 1-2 Taquito peppers – or similar small hot chili pepper
  • ¼ cup whipped cream cheese
  • ¼ cup shredded cheese – Mexican blend or mild cheddar


Preheat your grill (or oven to 450°F). Wash the snack peppers and dry them. Cut them in half lengthwise and remove their seeds. Finely chop the hot chili pepper and place in a small bowl. Note: If your skin is sensitive to hot peppers, it is recommended to wear gloves while cleaning and chopping.

Add the whipped cream cheese and shredded cheese into the bowl with chopped chili pepper and mix thoroughly. Use a spoon to scoop the cheese mixture into the cut snack pepper. Place peppers onto aluminum foil, cheese side up. If grilling, place the aluminum foil directly onto the grates. If roasting in the oven, place aluminum foil on a baking sheet and place in oven. Grill or roast for 10-15 minutes, until cheese begins to bubble. Remove the peppers from the heat and allow to cool slightly before serving.
